Baking for Brain Cancer, The Primal Way

In my daily work, I am passionate about making healthy eating easy, delicious, and sustainable for busy people. The Primal Alternative bakery difference lies in handcrafting grain-free, nutrient-dense alternatives to everyday staples like bread, wraps, pizza bases, and granolas—helping families manage dietary needs and supporting our amazing local independent stockists across the Wheatbelt and South West.

But this May, I am turning my passion into a purpose that goes far beyond the kitchen bench. On May 30th, I am taking part in the national Baking for Brain Cancer campaign.

I am deeply inspired by the work of Carrie's Beanies 4 Brain Cancer, so I wanted to raise money by fundraising my way. The official slogan is to "turn your passion into a donation," and that is exactly what I am doing with my love for baking. We're on a mission to support the brilliant researchers working hard to find a cure for brain cancer.

Tragically, brain cancer kills more children in Australia than any other disease, and more adults under 40 than any other cancer. We need to change these statistics.
