Supporting mum in battling her VRBT (very rare brain tumour)

By Tamara Coller

I've created this page because I want to make a difference.

Please help me support vital brain cancer research. This may not give my family more time together with my mum. But it will help others diagnosed with this terrible disease.

Brilliant researchers are working so hard to find a cure for brain cancer. Your support could mean being a part of life-changing research.

Whether you donate money or purchase an item, I thank you for your generosity, it means a lot!

My mum’s story

Thursday 15th Oct
It started as nothing more than brain fog, decline in motor function and odd taste and smells. After every other test came back negative, an MRI was ordered and that’s when our world was turned upside down.
A 5cm tumour was found and an urgent craniotomy was required to remove as much tumour as possible and reduce the pressure in the scull.
The surgery went well and we felt positive whilst continuing to prey it was nothing too serious.
Next thing we know we are hearing words such as  “ stage 4, aggressive, oncologist, radiation, no cure.
It was confirmed as a Glioblastoma, a stage 4 Glioma. The most aggressive form of brain cancer. That day changed our lives.
