Making a Difference for Brain Cancer.
Every dollar is donated directly to the Brain Cancer Centre, specifically supporting research into Glioblastoma (GBM) - the disease BB continues to fight. We are hoping to go bigger and better again this year and would love for you to be a part of the story!
When BB was first diagnosed in May 2024 and underwent surgery in June, he was given an expected prognosis of 8-10 months. It was only through access to clinical trials and treatment options made possible by the Brain Cancer Centre that he was able to continue forward, reaching October 2025 before the disease re-emerged.
While the return of the tumour was devastating, the fact that it occurred in the same location meant a second surgery was possible. Further treatment lies ahead over the coming months, but true to form, BB remains positive, determined, and focused on the things that matter most to him - including being back on the golf course with all of you on 4th February 2026.
Importantly, this event is not about BB alone. It is about continuing to support research into one of the most aggressive and under-funded cancers, where effective long-term treatments and cures remain desperately needed. Our aim is to help ensure that future families facing a GBM diagnosis have better options, better outcomes, and real hope.
