We need your help to raise funds for BRAIN CANCER RESEARCH.
In May 2021 our larger than life Anthony was diagnosed with an agressive GBM one of the most agressive, terminal cancers one can acquire. In an effort to stay positive we started this fundraising page to not only raise funds for this cause but to bring an awareness to how little funding it receives. So I decided to shave my head to generate these funds.
Sadly, our beautiful man passed away on the 23rd July 2022 to this terrible disease. He left us with a legacy to continue his fight, our fight, your fight to end terminal brain cancer.
Currently, 1 Australian is diagnosed with Brain Cancer ever 5 hours. Brain Cancer receives less than 5% of Federal Government cancer research funding. Even though Brain Cancer is one of the most complex of cancers, it is the most understudied, so statistics have not improved in nearly 30 years.
